Ethan and Elise Chung at their ARSM diploma graduation recital

Graduation Recital · August 22, 2026

ARSM Diploma Graduation & Benefit Concert

Ethan and Elise Chung celebrated the completion of their ARSM Diploma programs by presenting a graduation piano recital that brought together more than 100 family members, friends, students, and community members. Through a diverse program of classical repertoire, they shared the joy of music across generations while reflecting on how focused study, creativity, and perseverance can lead to meaningful achievements.

The recital also became a special opportunity to give back. We were beyond grateful to raise more than $3,000 through online, cash, and check contributions in support of C-MPACT, a nonprofit dedicated to expanding music education opportunities for young musicians in the community.

By combining an important musical milestone with a benefit concert, Ethan and Elise were able to use their music not only to connect and inspire others, but also to make a meaningful contribution to music education in their community.

Educational Evening featuring Elise and Ethan Chung

Educational Evening · August 11, 2026

Educational Event: Music, Achievement, and Inspiration

Ethan and Elise Chung offered a free educational music event in San Jose, welcoming approximately 40 students and parents for an evening designed to inspire younger musicians and their families. They shared how dedicated preparation, consistent practice, and perseverance can lead to meaningful musical growth and achievement.

Through performance and personal reflections on their own musical journey, Ethan and Elise encouraged young musicians to set ambitious goals, embrace the learning process, and discover what can be accomplished through commitment and hard work.

The event also included an interactive Q&A session for students and parents, creating an opportunity for honest sharing, practical advice, and encouragement. Families were able to ask questions and hear firsthand about both the challenges and rewards of pursuing long-term musical goals.

The event brought families together for an encouraging and educational experience—celebrating not only musical achievement, but also the discipline, confidence, perseverance, and joy that can grow along the way.
