How the levels work

No remainder

  • Level 1: Three-digit dividend ÷ one-digit divisor (2–9). Whole-number answers.
  • Level 2: Four-digit dividend ÷ one-digit divisor (2–9); 75% use divisors 6–9. Practice longer quotients, including zeros.
  • Level 3: Four- or five-digit dividend ÷ two-digit divisor (12–99). Estimate and adjust quotient digits.

With Remainder

  • Level 1: Two-digit dividend ÷ one-digit divisor (2–9). Enter a quotient and a nonzero remainder.
  • Level 2: Three-digit dividend ÷ one-digit divisor (2–9). Include zeros in the quotient when needed.
  • Level 3: Three- or four-digit dividend ÷ two-digit divisor (12–99). Check that the remainder is smaller than the divisor.

With Decimal

  • Level 1: Two-digit dividend ÷ 2, 4, or 5. Answers have exactly one decimal place.
  • Level 2: Three-digit dividend ÷ 2, 4, 5, or 8. Answers have one or two decimal places.
  • Level 3: Three- or four-digit dividend ÷ a two-digit divisor (12–99). Answers have one to three decimal places.

With Repeat

  • Level 1: One-digit dividends ÷ 3 or 6. One repeating digit; there may be a nonrepeating digit first.
  • Level 2: Two-digit dividends ÷ 3, 6, 9, or 11. One or two repeating digits.
  • Level 3: Three-digit dividends ÷ two-digit multiples of 3, 6, 9, or 11 (up to 99). One or two repeating digits.

Put only the repeating digits in parentheses. Example: 0.(3), 0.1(6), or 0.(09).
“Your Answer” preview will show a bar. Do not round.

All problems use positive whole-number dividends and divisors. With Decimal answers terminate exactly; With Repeat answers continue forever. No rounding is needed. Divisors are selected with dividends that produce the required answer type. For remainder answers, check: divisor × quotient + remainder = dividend.
